Q -- PHARMACY BENEFIT MANAGER SERVICES FOR VA COMMUNITY-BASED OUTPATIENT CLINICS SOL 550-07-00 DUE 121099 POC Marietta Hance, Contract Specialist (217-431-6536) Contractor shall provide Pharmacy Benefit Management Services for VA community-based outpatient clinics (CBOC)located within the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Danville, Illinois catchment area. The present CBOC locations are 1.) Springfield, Illinois; 2.) Decatur, Illinois; and 3.) Lafayette, Indiana. Services for each present location shall begin 1.)approximately December 1999 for Springfield, Illinois; 2.) March 1, 2000 for Lafayette, Indiana; and 3.) April 1, 2000 for Decatur, Illinois. Services for any future CBOC in the VA Medical Center, Danville, Illinois catchment area shall begin at such time when the CBOC is officially opened. Pharmacies under the successful pharmacy benefit management contractor shall fill and dispense prescriptions ordered by VA physician(s) assigned to the Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. Prescriptions will be filled and limited to a maximum of five days except for antibiotics and antibacterials which shall be limited to a maximum of seven days supply.
