R -- RETIREMENT SYSTEM COUNSELOR The Patent and Trademark Office intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Robert J. Egan to administer the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) and the Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) Programs in the PTO providing benefit information, counseling, and estimates to PTO employees considering retirement. Processing retirement applications and processing applications for refunded service/redeposit service. Services include: 1) Review of Official Personnel Files (OPFs) to collect information creditable service; 2) Entry of information in a computer program that computes the retirement annuity estimates, estimates for deposits, re-deposits, and military service; 3) Counseling employees on retirement annuity and benefit options; 4) Prepare the retirement application for submission to Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
