The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to perform collection and disposal services for refuse materials and debris at the Naval Support Station, Mechanicsburg, PA by means of an indefinite quantity type contract. Refuse material and debris shall consist of milled or crushed furniture, appliances, wood, metal, plastics, glass, glazing, drywall, insulation, doors, windows, floor and ceiling tile, plumbing, electrical, and accessories. Hazardous and classified materials, rubber, asbestos containing material and material the Government desires to have incinerated or disposed of by other means are not included in this contract. Type of contract: $10,000.00 minimum, indefinite quantity. Standard Industrial Classification: 4953, Refuse Systems, $6.0 million. Number of days in contract: 365 with four (4) option years. Number of bid items: Five (5) with unit price schedule. Prospective contractors must register in the DOD Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award. Bidders are notified that failure to register may render their firm ineligible for award.
