NASA/ARC plans to issue a Request for Offers to provide labor, equipment, and materials to remove the existing compressed air system and replace with a new system that includes refrigerated air dryer, storage tanks, filter and interconnecting piping. Abatement of lead paint is required. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000 and the effort shall be completed within 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and shall be advertised under Full and Open Competition. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1711 and $7 Million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about December 1, 1999 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about January 4, 2000.
