The Government has a requirement to procure managed care support services for Health Service Region 11, which includes the states of Washington, Oregon, and six northern counties in Idaho. Services include development of region wide networks of health care providers for eligible beneficiaries. The proposed contract is for a base period of 10 months for transition and seven one-year options. Health care delivery will start in April 2002. The anticipated contract type is fixed price with redeterminable features. (More information may be obtained at the TMA website at www.tricare.osd.mil, where a copy of the draft solicitation rests.) Formal source selection procedures will be used to procure the required services. The solicitation will be issued on CD ROM.
