S -- - NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRCT WITH AMERICAN SAMOAN GOVERNMENT. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the American Samoan Government, Dept. of Marine & Wildlife Resources for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Purpose of contract is to contract for federally-deputized officers from the Dept. of Marine & Wildlife Resources to assist NMFS in fulfilllling its mission in Pago Pago, American Samoa. The Dept. of Marine & Wildlife Resources in Pago Pago is the only source for federally-deputized officers who can assist the NMFS Special Agent perform his duties in Pago Pago. No other sources are available which can satisfy this requirement due to unique government-to-government nature of these services. No public solicitation will be issued, notice being synopsized to satisfy FAR Part 5 requirements.
