Government to deliver and pick up. Vessel repairs to be accomplished at
government facility Pier 36, Seattle WA. Description of work: Boiler
Fuel Service system mods, auxiliary generator fuel service system mods,
small boats fueling mods, science seawater system mods, potable water
bromine analyzer installation, distilling plant installation, XO office
installation, install test blocks into the HV switchboard, auxiliary
generator switchboard and inspection of the ship, open, clean, and
inspect various fuel oil, lube oil and waste oil tanks, open, clean and
inspect potable water tanks, overhaul and test various pressure relief
valves, disassemble, clean and reassemble various ventilation ducts,
weight test and inspect shipboard deck cranes and associated
components, clean, inspect and test various hoists and dumb waiter and
system components and clean and inspect various bilge's. This is a
Best Value procurement. Sources who currently hold, or are qualified
for and willing to enter into an Agreement for Boat Repair/Master Ship
Repair Agreement DFAR (217.71) prior to award, may submit a bid which
shall be considered by this agency. Firms which do not, possess an
Agreement for Boat Repair/Master Ship Repair Agreement are ineligible
for award unless adequate time exists to permit the navy to perform an
assessment of their MSR application to execute the ABR/MSRA without
