The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary for the installation of PVC Liner and guttering system for the Community Pool, Bldg 250, Fort Bliss, Texas. Work consists of supply and installation, including any design, necessary for a complete turn key, high quality reinforced PVC pool liner and replacement of the perimeter gutter on an existing 65' X 85' concrete pool. The recirculation system is to be pre-frabricated and engineered type constructed of heavy duty PVC plastic for the entire length of the pool. Guttering will be installed to the existing gutters, thereby abandoning the existing water return-supply and removal system. The new system must be connected to the existing system in the filter/pump room. In addition, the existing water supply and return system built into the walls of the pool must be abandoned and closed off. Any design for this work is also included in the scope. This project does not include any maintenance or repair to the existing pump or filtering system, however; it does include the connection of the new perimeter recirculation system to the existing system in the filter/pump room. Project includes replacement of all inlet/outlet covers; drain covers and grates that would not be abandoned by the new perimeter recirculation system. Any design of this system is included in the scope of work. Project also includes replacement of existing pool ladders with new ladders designed for underwater use. PVC material will be non-slid where installed in shallow water (less than 6 feet deep) and on gutter/deck markings where applicable. The pool facility needs to be complete and fully functional no later than April 15, 2000. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns (see Numbered Note 1). The Standard Industrial Classification for this procurement is 1799, with a small business size standard of $7.0 million.
