In addition, the contractor will furnish and install a diesel-Powered auxiliary pumping system on each of the same nine vehicles. These fire engines will be subjected to extended periods of off-highway use on variable terrain and hot, dusty working conditions. The contractor shall integrate design and construction techniques into the project that will satisfy these extreme duty requirements.
