Regional Office Drill Crew, Boise, Idaho has a requirement for a
Foremost Dual Rotary Truck-Mounted Drill, model number
DR7/24P-40/12-950. At this time we anticipate a sole source award to
Foremost Industries Inc. They are located at 1225 64th Avenue NE,
Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2E 8P9; telephone 403-295-5800. The
Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under
the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that only one
responsible source can provide the dual rotary rig. Firms that believe
they can provide a drill rig that is equal to or better than the above
referenced equipment and want to be considered for this procurement
must provide the following: 1) written supporting evidence that they
can furnish the required rig; 2) all supporting documentation i.e.,
brochures, catalog cut sheets; and 3) any other pertinent information.
We have the following equipment that we will be offering as a
trade-in: 1) Drill Truck -- 1986 Int. Harvester, Model F-1954 6X6, Body
Style S-1900, Diesel Engine Detroit 466; 2) 1986 Gus Pech Model BR22,
Deck Engine 6BTA5.9, Tigre Tierra 612 banger casing hammer. Dual head;
3) Compressor truck -- 1977 White, Flat Bed, 6X4, Model 4864-2; 4)
Compressor -- 1987 Ingersoll-Rand Model XHP-750B-W-GM, 750CFM 250 PSI,
engine Detroit 6V92T. All responses must be received within 10
