Institution, Big Spring, Texas is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to
work approximately 30 hours per week as a non-personal service. The
Pharmacy Technician is a supportive member of the Pharmacy staff. As
directed by the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs various
duties and functions as necessary for the day to day operation of the
Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician must be able to stand for significant
periods of time and periodically lift up to 30 pounds. There will also
be a significant amount of walking to be done. The Pharmacy Tech must
be able to distinguish between colors and be able to read/decipher
prescription orders, file forms, stock pharmacy supplies, and fill
prescription orders. The Pharmacy Technician must have computer and
typing skills. The contract will be awarded from the Request for
Quotation with an anticipated award date of January 1, 2000. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
