Davy, Regional Contract Specialist, 606-253-8892 The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to the individual or company best qualified to provide telemedicine services to inmates housed at the Federal Medical Center, Lexington, KY. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. Duties include but are not limited to: coordinating all referred inmate cases and schedule subspeciality consultations (clinical and non clincal) for inmate medical care with the hub Telemedicine team leader. Assemble all appropriate consult forms and medical records including the laboratory and x-ray films and reports needed for the Telemedicine consultation. Requirements include: the contractor must have a college degree with working knowledge of computer technology. Contractor must have at least one year of prior experience on the operation of telemedicine equipment. The contractor shall conduct fifteen two hour sessions per week. the schedule will be at the determination of the clinical director and the contractor. Work shall commence between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Total work hours shall not exceed 30 hours per week. This will be a non personal service contract and not a personnel appointment. The contract period shall include a base year, not to exceed 12 months, and 4 one year option periods. The anticipated solicitation date is November 30, 1999, with an anticpated due date of December 21, 1999.
