The 89 Contracting is conducting market research to identify potential sources for providing linguist services for translation and interpretation in the Balkan area. Request interested offerors capable of performing this effort submit a capability statement no later than 01 Dec 99. Information submitted in the capability statement should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact, business size and general description of the company, and services provided. Interested parties should submit information to demonstrate their capability of performing linguist services for translation and interpretation in the Balkan area and being able to response to the specific area within 72 hours of notification. Interested parties should also indicate their ability to provide these services with personnel who already possess a Secret Clearance. Interested parties shall also include a list of their most recent and relevant contracts for providing similar services to include contract number, place of performance, customer point of contact, telephone number, contract type, amount of award, and period of performance. The information should also include a very brief description of the services required and whether performance was considered acceptable or an explanation for performance problems noted. Be sure to identify any existing federal supply schedules such as through the General Services Administration or other existing government contracts that may be used to obtain such services along with ordering information. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted or for any costs associated with providing this information.
