The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to add seven (7)Initial Issue Provisioning (IIP)packages and seven (7) Special Tools packages commercially to contract M67854-99-C-3054 with Advanced Vehicle Systems, Inc. of Washington DC. The IIP and Special Tools packages are required to support the Marine Corps' Interim Fast Attack Vehicle (IFAV) and are DaimlerChrysler parts peculiar to the Marine Corps' model of Mercedes-Benz off Road vehicle (MB 290 GD 1.5 ton truck). The IIP is comprised of items such as fuel filters, oil filter inlays, brake pads and drums, starters, radiators, gearbox transmissions, transfer cases etc. The Special Tools package will consist of such items as pullers, dial indicators, pliers, various wrenches, resetting devices, insertion tools, compression testers, screwdriver bits etc. See Numbered Note 22.
