This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for quotations for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and following the simplified acquisition procedures in FAR part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and NO ADDITIONAL SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. This procurement is for the following EXACT items to be delivered FOB destination to White Sands Missile Range, NM: (One each unless otherwise specified) 1) 1 degree Short-wave Telescope for SC1000 digital IR camera including fabrication and radiometric validation, 3.4 -- 5 micrometer spectral band, >85% total transmittance, 40 meter minimum focus distance, F/1.5, calibration for all standard ranges on customer furnished ThermaCAM SC1000 (the 16 degree lens of the SC1000 will be calibrated with and dedicated to the 1 degree optic) and the high temp. filter calibrated to 2000 deg. C., telescope to be calibrated with the neutral density high temp. filter supplied by Inframetrics as an accessory to that camera, measurement ranges for the SC1000 when used in conjunction with the 1 degree telescope and neutral density filter will match the filter ranges established for the neutral density filter.
