COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF NOVEMBER 19,1999 PSA#2479MARKET SURVEY FOR VEHICULAR INTERCOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS FOR THE SAUDI
ARABIAN NATIONAL GUARD The Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) has
requested the U.S. Army CECOM to conduct a market survey to determine
price and availability of manufacturers who can install, furnish, and
make operational a total of 427 vehicular intercommunications systems.
Each system should provide clear, noise-free digital communications
between combat vehicles externally over as many as six combat net
radios. Interoperability should include SINCGARS VHF and Harris RF 5000
radios. Supportability should include installation and design support,
technical publications, operator and maintenance training, spares,
