The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has issued Amendment 001 to RFQ24-001 for four separate rotary vane, vacuum pumps (Busch R5, Model RCO630 or equivalent) and a separate 200 gallon receiver with drain valve for its Washington, D. C. facility. The purpose of Amendment 001 is to revise Standard Form 18, Request for Quotations, answer questions submitted by prospective offerors, and extend the date and time for receipt of proposals until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29, l999. If your company requested a copy of RFQ24-001 you will automatically receive the amendment. All other request for RFQ24-001 and Amendment 001 must be submitted in writing to the above address, or facsimile to (202) 874-2400 or emailed to angela.williams@bep.treas.gov in order to receive the complete package. This acquisition is set-aside for small business under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 3561, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. All responsible small business sources are requested to submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit prices, the proposed extended prices, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, SIC code, small business size standard, and DUNS number.
