Q -- MEDICAL ASSISTANT SOL RFQ442-0003 DUE 010300 POC Norman Ward, Regional Contract Specialist The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Beckley, WV., intends to award a firm-fixed price type contract with indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity for the services of three (3) Medical Assistants. These services shall be provided to the inmate population of the FCI and the adjacent Federal Prison Camp. The successful contractor shall assist medical staff in a variety of medical tasks within the institution's Health Services Department. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. It is anticipated that these positions will require 25-30 hours weekly. These positions will not exceed 30 hours in a given week. The anticipated performance period is award, tentatively March 1, 2000, through twelve months. Additionally, the contract will provide for two (2) twelve month option periods.
