The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting proposals for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The work of this contract consists of the rehabilitation of water and electrical utilities and construction of a new wastewater pumping station. This work includes but is not necessarily limited to: 1. The cleaning and lining of approximately 28,000 linear feet of 6 inch, 8 inch, 12 inch, and 16 inch waterline; installation of backflow prevention devices; valve and hydrant repair and replacement; and appurtenant work. 2. Replace 4,160 Volt switchgear and access door (manway and equipment doorway) in building 117-north substation building. 3. Add emergency lighting to building 117-north substation building. 4. Replace 4,160 Volt switchgear in building 88-south substation building. 5. Add emergency lighting to building 88-south substation building. 6. Testing of existing 4,160 Volt feeder PF1 and place new 4,160 Volt feeder PF1 in the same conduit. Splice to existing feeder PF1. 7. Refurbish 4,160 Volt switchgear in Ryan Center including replacement of six SBU switches and voltmeters and ammeters. 8. New package wastewater pumping station and 10 foot forcemain stub. 9. New 8 inch water and 6 inch sewer services to the TBTA facilities. 10. Directional drilling for approximately 5,200 linear feet of 8 inch steel sewage force main (Option 1) or 5,200 linear feet of 8 inch steel sewage forcemain and 12 inch steel gas main (Option 2). -- An official pre-proposal site meeting will be conducted.
