This announcement constitutes the only solicitaion; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Marine Corps Northeast Regional Contracting Office has a requirement for the following item: (1) 1200 Tons of Salt, Sodium Chloride; Technical (For Ice Removal). The Government reserves the right to modify any of the delivery dates and the tonnage as deemed necessary by weather conditions. Delivery as follows: 400 Tons Delivered 26 Jan 00; 400 Tons Delivered 25 Feb 00; 400 Tons Delivered 8 Mar 00; Delivery will be to the Maintenance Branch, Facilities Division, Receiving Bldg. 709/710, MCCDC Quantico Va 22134. Contractors shall submit pricing on FOB destination basis. A written request for quotes will not be issued.
