The Indian Health Service (IHS) is requesting bids to acquire podiatry clinical and surgical services for the Blackfeet Indian Hospital located at Browning, Montana. Duties, though not inclusive, shall include the provision of diagnostic, preventive and/or therapeutic services; admission, management and discharge of patients; inpatient consultation; inpatient and outpatient surgery; directing the cast and shoe program for diabetic patients; provide neurologic and vascular testing; assess footwear and educational needs; perform/request and interpret special screening and developmental/laboratory tests; periodic evaluation of patient treatment plans; and complete and maintain medical records and provide reports in compliance with IHS policy and procedures. The IHS intends to award a fixed-price contract for a base year with two (2) renewal option years.
