The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Branch of Acquisition and Property Management of the Southwest Region, Albuquerque, NM solicits the services of 51% Indian Owned Firms. Indian Owned Firms will be required to perform services on the Picuris Entrance Road, Located on the Picuris Pueblo Indian Reservation, Taos County, New Mexico. Contracts awarded in response to this announcement will be awarded in accordance with the authority of the "Buy Indian Act" (25 U.S.C. 47). The Project No. NP201 (1) 2&4, Pedestrian culvert and hot Asphaltic concrete overlay within the Taos County in the State of New Mexico. Total Project is .5558 miles of existing roadway consist of removal of an existing pedestrian culvert, construction of a new super-span structural plate pedestrian underpass and overlay of the existing roadway with Asphaltic concrete pavement. This project is estimated to cost between $100,000 and $500,000. Contract performance time to complete work will be set at 90 calendar days. Measurement and payment for work performed, or items furnished will be made in accordance with Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FP-92) Section 109, Measurement and Payment. The bid opening date will be December 17, 1999 at 2:00 pm. Contract will be awarded on an "All or None" basis.
