Sioux Falls, SD, has a requirement for a matrix switch. This item is
required to interface the two new Ampex drives and Datascopes to the
LGS and LPS. The matrix switch shall be a 32 x 32, non-blocking switch
network capable of routing any input to any one or more of 32 outputs.
Differential ECL data and clock lines (data, data', clock, clock')
shall be switched simultaneously. Proper ECL terminations (50 ohms into
-2V) shall be provided for all inputs and outputs, including unused or
unconnected ports. The matrix switch shall provide sufficient
bandwidth to bugger and route data rates in excess of 300 MBPS without
waveform distoration or bit errors The following requirement is
