FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure maintenance and technical support for existing Clicknet software as follows: up to 120,000 each Clicknet Pro 5.0 Support (Part #: CNP5-SUPP); up to 120,000 each Clicknet Pro 5.0 NL CSS (Part #: CNP5-CSS1234); up to 1,300 each Clicknet Pro 5.0 BP CSS Management Console (Part #: CNP5-CSS4321). This requirement is to provide services commencing in December 1999 as required by CINCLANTFLT and CINCPACFLT. The eventual contract action is for services that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Clicknet Software Corporation of San Jose, CA pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements", as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. Clicknet Software Corporation is the manufacturer of the Clicknet Pro asset management software currently utilized by both CINCLANTFLT and CINCPACFLT. Clicknet Software Corporation is the only source with the requisite technical knowledge and expertise necessary to maintain and support this software. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this requirement is 7372. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or to submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
