This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepare in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number N00181-00-T-0013 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorfporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. This requirementt is being solicited as unrestricted. SIC 3069 with a size standard of 500 employees applies. Contract line item as follows: 0001 -- 3M, Part No. 361, Pressure Sensitive Tape, adhesive backed, 2" wide x 60 yards long, opaque white, glass and cotton tape, usuable at temperatures up to 450 degrees F, minimum adhesion (to asteel) 36 oz/in. width, minimum tensile strength, 170 lb/in. width, material shall be markrd with its manufacture date and shall have at least 85% of its shelf life remaining at the time of shipment. 3M ONLY -- NO OR EQUALS. Quantity of 500 rolls to be delivered to FOB destination on or before 21 days after the date of the contract. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination.
