Contract performance is expected to commence on 1 February 2000 and run for one year through 31 Jan 2001. We expect to include one, one-year option into the Contract. 3. Contractors with experience in Conference Planning, Support and Execution Operations are invited to attend a site visit on 07 December 1999, at Artillery Kaserne, Aeussere Maximillian Str. 24, Building 250, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Contractors are required to report to the front gate of Artillery Kaserne at 0830 hours, 07 December 1999, for sign in. Meeting will commence at 0900 hours. 4. This contractual action will be processed as a Customer, Contracting, and Commerce (C3) initiative. This process uses a two-step sealed bidding procedure as found in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 14.5. Contractors will be given a complete briefing on this process at the site visit. After the completion of the site visit, contractors will be required to submit technical proposals (LIMITED TO 10 PAGES IN LENGTH LONGER TECHNICAL PROPOSALS WILL BE REJECTED!!). Technical proposals will cover method of accomplishment as well as provide past experience in these types of services. Acceptable technical proposals submitted will be invited to submit a bid for the requirement. The technical proposal will be the statement of work for the contract. 5.
