Z -- SUPPLY/INSTALL EXHAUST HOOD SOL RFQ 428-030 POC Thomas Dufort, Regional Contract Specialist, (570) 547-1641, ext. 539 SOLICITATION NOTICE: Contractor shall perform all work associated with the fabrication and installation of a stainless steel island hood with outside make-up air, accessories and built to current specifications of the National Fire Protection Association-96 and B.O.C.A. mechanical codes over the servicing line in Food Service. Also, modification to the existing island hood in the kitchen of Food Service to include outside make-up air and all accessories to meet the above fire and mechanical codes. Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, and supplies required to perform the specified work. The installation site is at the Federal Prison Camp Allenwood located in Montgomery, Pennsylvania. The Contractor shall have 120 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice To Proceed to complete the job. The work is projected to begin in January 2000. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses only. Background investigations/clearances will be required and the Contractor and/or Contractor employees will be required to attend a 4-hour orientation program, at no additional cost to the Government, prior to entering the institution. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this project is 1711 (size standard is $7.0 million).
