This is a combined synopsis-/-solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and THERE WILL BE NO WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION ISSUED. The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation is N00244-00-T-0205. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3728 Aircraft Parts and Auxillary Equipment, with a size standard of $1 million. FISC San Diego has a requirement for the following Contract Line Items (CLINs): CLIN 0001 Screw Shaft Assembly, NAVAIR Part No. 896683 ; Quantity 01 EA CLIN 0002 Screw Shaft Assembly, NAVAIR Part No. 78062; Quantity 01 EA (Cited part is direct replacement part on an S3 Aircraft wing flap actuator.) Reference Drawing and part list NAVAIR 03-5CGA-12, change 2 (15 November 1986). Required delivery is required not later than 15 February 2000.
