The proposed acquisition contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times, at the descretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed four (4) years. Thsi acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources. Items appear to be sole source to Marconi Aerospace. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based on a combination of price, delivery and past performance as described in this solicitation.
