The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the printing and manufacturing of packaging for Star Notes of any denomination currency note. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The Contractor will be required to provide packaging for a single note and two notes. The packaging shall be made of sturdy materials, shall be clear, tear resistant, non-yellowing and acid free polyester film to store and hold the note(s) from damages caused by routine handling and normal wear and tear. The thickness of the film shall range from 70-75 micros. The packaging shall be designed to hold the number of star notes required. Interested firms must submit a written request for a copy of the RFQ. Interested firms shall also indicate their business size based on the SIC code 3999 (500 employees).
