This project solicits a Two Step, Best Value Source Selection construction contract to construct a 7,215 m2, Aircraft Maintenance Hangar (2 modules) with supporting apron and utilities. Two story, structural steel frame, foundation on piles, insulated protected metal siding, interior concrete masonry unit walls, AFFF fire protection system, miscellaneous equipment, apron blast-plates, pavement striping, tie-downs, and grounding systems; replace three large oil/water separators and five aircraft wash racks. Site work includes 57,032 m2 operational pavement; 1 m depth fill; supporting utilities, stormwater management system, flight line security fencing and vehicular parking area.
