Requirements Contract for repairs to various roadways, parking areas,
sidewalks, road and curb painting at the U.S. Naval Academy Complex,
Annapolis, MD. Term of the contract will be one (1) year with four (4)
option years. Delivery Order Minimum is $1,000.00 and the Maximum is
$200,000.00. The projected date for availability of plans and
specifications is December 14, 1999. The projected bid opening date is
January 13, 2000. The SIC is 1611, Highway and Street Construction.
The project is 100% Small Business Set Aside. In accordance with FAR
5.102(a)(7), availability of the solicitation will be available for
download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at
http://www.efaches.navfac.navy.mil/Contracts-fin/index.html (website).
Hard copies (paper sets) of CD-ROM of solicitation WILL NOT be
provided by the Government. This solicitation is available in
electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF
file format. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files,
can be downloaded from the website. The official plan holders list
will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. -- Plan
holders lists WILL NOT be faxed and will only be available from the
website. Registering offerors and plan rooms must provide a complete
name, complete mailing address and area code and phone number, offeror
type (prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier or plan room), e-mail
address and size (large business, small business, small disadvantaged
business, women owned small business or other). -- NOTIFICATION OF ANY
CHANGES (AMENDMENTS) TO THE SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE ONLY ON THE
INTERNET. -- IT WILL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE
WEBSITE FOR ANY POSTED CHANGES. -- Electronic bid set (EBS) will be
available on or about December 14, 1999. In accordance with DFAR
252.204-7004 all firms must be registered with the Central Contractor
Registration (CCR) prior to any award of a contract. To obtain
