Department of Energy intends to award a sole source contract to SAS Institute, Inc., SAS Campus Drive, Cary, NC 27513, for renewal of existing license agreement and support maintenance for the following proprietary software: (a) Base Statistical Analysis System (SAS) Computer software; (b) SASGRAPH computer software; (c) SAS ECONOMETRIC and TIME SERIES (SAS/ETS) computer software; (d) SAS FULL SCREEN PROCESSOR (SAS/FPS) computer software; (e) SAS OPERATIONS RESEARCH (SAS/OR) computer software; (f) SAS AUTOMATED FACILITY (SAS/AF) computer software; (g) SYSTEM 2000 Database Management System computer software; (h) SAS/ACCESS for ADABAS computer software; (i) SAS/STAT computer software; (j) SAS/Connect computer software; (k) SAS/Calc computer software; (l) SAS/C computer software; and (m) SAS/CPE Starter Set for computer software. The renewal period is one year. This is a notice of intent and not a request for proposal. This proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
