DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This CBD announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) 618-73-00 entitled "Y2K Upgrades of HPLC Units" and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #14. The SIC Code for this procurement is 5045 and the small business size is 100 employees. Contractor's proposals are hereby being requested in response to requirements for brand name or equal products listed below and shall be submitted on contractor's letterhead or bid form and must address all requirements listed and must contain the name, title, and signature of person authorized to submit proposals/bids on behalf of the contractor. This is a requirements contract for the items listed. Price proposal will include separate price breakdowns on each item and each items components. Provide the following items as listed: Item 1: Y2K Upgrade Kit, HP 1090M w/DAD-I, 2 each; item 2: Y2K Upgrade Kit, HP 1090M w/DAD-I &ESA, 2 each; Item 3: Y2K Upgrade Kit, HP 1090L w/DAD II & External UV/VIS, 1 each; Item 4: Y2K Upgrade Kit, HP 1090L w/DAD-I, 1 each; Item 5: Y2K Upgrade Kit, HP5890A w/7673A; Item 6: Training, 3 days (all software products); Item 7: Y2K Upgrade Kit HP 1090L w/Diode Array Detector-I. Trade in credit of 3 (three) each HP7673A Autosampler Controllers and Retired GC/MS Systems to be included. Vendor must be a Channel Partner Reseller of HP and must include all software documentation. Delivery of product must be no later than December 15, 1999. This office may purchase only selected items from vendors quote. All supplies provided must be Y2K compliant. All responsible sources who can meet the VAMC's requirements and provide services/items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting aprice and technical proposal on their company letterhead or bid form.
