of Miscellaneous Environmental and Natural Resources Services at Ft.
Lewis and other facilities supported by Ft. Lewis in Washington and
Oregon. The primary work will consist of surveys, data collection and
analysis, reports, management plans, maps, photographs, document
reviews, training, computer data management, environmental assessments,
compliance audits, permit preparation and regulatory agency
coordination in the following areas: plant and animal studies, NEPA
compliance, cultural resources, GIS mapping, hazardous waste and
materials, solid waste, asbestos, lead, ozone depleting substances, air
quality and water quality. Proposed procurement will result in a fixed
price requirements contract with option to extend four optional years.
AVAILABILITY: This Solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set
(EBS) on CD-Rom format only. EBS CD-ROM disks with plans and specs
available on or about 13 Dec 1999 at no charge per set. EBS CD-ROM
disks will be issued on a first come, first served basis until supply
is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Refer to IFB Number
DACA67-00-R-0201 when ordering. Requests MUST BE IN WRITING and be
received before bid documents will be mailed. Requests may be made: (1)
by fax to (206) 764-6817, (2) by completing the web request form for
the solicitation listed at http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/cntrct . An
additional confirmation copy of your request need not be mailed. Please
be sure to include if you are a Prime, Sub or Plans Room. EBS CD-ROMs
may be picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the
hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Submit requests by 6 Dec 1999. Estimated
dollar value is in the range of $1 million to $5 million and
completion period is 365 days. Standard Industrial Classification Code
is 8999. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are
a large business and your bid or proposal will exceed $500,000 you
will be required to submit a subcontracting plan. For the purposes of
this procurement a concern is considered a small business if its
average annual receipts are $ 5 million or less. Visit the Corps of
