Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) at Edwards Air Force Base seeks licensed and bonded contractors to provide and install a specialized gasket for the Anechoic Chamber Aircraft Hanger Door, as follows: Repair the Radio Frequency Interface / Electrical Magnetic Interface (RFI/EMI) Shielded Door Seals at the Benefield Anechoic Facility, Edwards AFB, CA. 93523. Upon completion of repairs, the door must pass stringent Anechoic performance tests in accordance with design specifications. The RFI/EMI shielded door is a sliding entry door for aircraft, measuring 200' wide x 66' high. Repairs shall include, but are not limited to, repair/replacement of inflatable seals, wire mesh gaskets and finger stock material. The Anechoic chamber is an RF Shielded enclosure, nominally 250' wide x 240' long x 70' high. All interior surfaces of the Anechoic chamber are treated with broadbond, pyramidal absorber material. An 80' turntable is also located near the center of the enclosure. Please provide written request for specification package by e-mail or fax.
