This is a combiined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is MDA250-00-Q-0016 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under simplified acquisiton procedures. See Notes 1 and 22. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect throrugh Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which, if timely received, shall be considered by the Government. The Standard Indusrial Classification Code is 7382. The small business size is nine million dollars ($9M).
