L -- ACOUSTIC RAPID COTS INSERTION (A-RCI) TRAINER UPGRADES SOL N00024-00-R-6225 DUE 122099 POC Contracting Officer -- Chris Pigott (703) 602-7703 x656 or email Pigottcd@navsea.navy.mil The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement to apply current Acoustic Rapid Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Insertion (A-RCI) functionality to the Submarine Multi Mission Team Trainer (SMMTT). NAVSEA intends to add this requirement to contract N00024-95-C-6535. Specifically the deliverables will include the hardware and software necessary to upgrade the common trainer Engineering Production Models (EPM) with current A-RCI functionality as well as SMMTT upgrade kits. NAVSEA contract N00024-95-C-6535 was awarded to Loral Federal Systems Company (now Lockheed Martin Undersea Systems) in Manassas, VA in January 1995. Lockheed Martin is the developer of the A-RCI upgrade program and its trainers. Lockheed Martin possesses the unique assets and facilities needed to meet all of the Navy's requirements.
