The Air Force Flight Test Center has a requirement for a contractor to provide all services necessary to perform the operation, maintenance, and repair of a Class IV tertiary wastewater treatment facility at Edwards Air Force Base and a Class III activated sludge plant at the Air Force Research Laboratory, California. This is a re-advertisement of solicitation F04700-99-Q-7018 the new solicitation number is F04700-00-R-0008. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, personnel, equipment, services, tools, office and laboratory furnishing, materials, supplies, replacement parts, and any other required items associated with wastewater collection, wastewater pumping system operations, and wastewater treatment in order to provide continuous, cost effective, and efficient c onveyance of all activity generated wastewater to the Edwards AFB wastewater treatment facility. Operations shall be in accordance with applicable Federal, State and County regulations. Systems shall minimize unsatisfactory service to include flooding conditions, pump station failures, pipe blockages, and excessive infiltration and inflow conditions. Generated waste materials (waste oils, grit screenings, and other waste solids), must be routinely collected, and removed to an appropriate disposal site. Disposal practices to include transportation shall be in accordance with environmental regulations. Anticipated period of performance is 1 Apr 2000 through 30 Sep 2000, with four one year options ending 30 Sep 2004. This requirement is unrestricted. SIC code is 8744. Size standard is $5 Million.
