North Star is now the primary provider for treatment services for women participating in the Kansas City Family Drug Court, works in unison with the Family Drug Court and child protective services and is a member of the Family Drug Court Team. Work to be accomplished shall include: (1) Provide case management services for women and their children (2) Improve the curriculum of the existing parenting program and develop a new more advanced parenting program for high risk parents and coordinate a peer support group (3) Institute a children's prevention and education program.
