It is the intent of this soliciation N68950-99-Q-0207, to obtain GROUNDS MAINTENANCE services for Great Lakes Naval Training Center Complex (Great Lakes, Ft. Sheridan, and Glenview) Illinois. This service will be issued as a Commercial Item, by means of a combination Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity contract. The Contractor shall provide complete grounds maintenance services, along with fall cleanup; spring cleanup; weed control; fertilization and herbiciding, on approx. 565 acres. The proposed contract will be for a period of one year with two/one year options. The options will be exercised at the discretion of the Governemnt, if it is determined that exercising it is in the Government's best interest. This procurement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The SIC code for this acquisition is 0782 with a size standard of $5.0 million. The estimated cost range is between $1.0 mil and $5.0 mil. All responsible proposals will be evaluated according to past performance and price. Award will be made as a whole to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation.
