DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, personnel and supervision to install 4044, CO detector alarms in 2022, military family housing units located on Andrews AFB and Brandywine receiver site, Brandywine, MD. Brandywine has 12 housing units which are included in the grand total of 2022. The contractor shall install two government furnished battery operated detectors strategically located in each quarter. (4044 detectors). The government will provide components necessary for the installation and operation of detectors. Installation will be done in housing sections as scheduled by the Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE). Hours of operation will be 0800 to 1700hrs, Monday through Friday, government holidays excluded. A thirty day makeup period will be set aside at the end of the contract for missed and broken appointments. Performance period: 150 days after award (includes makeup period). Housing addresses and locations will be furnished to successful offeror. QAE information will be provided to the successful offeror. The on-site foreman shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Contractor employees shall wear outer garments that identify them as contractor employees. Partial payment is authorized, the contractor shall invoice monthly for only those units completed and certified by the QAE. All work and appointments will be scheduled/coordinated with the QAE.
