GAGE, BORE STRAIGHTNESS, NSN 5220-00-221-9391, P/N 8448202. The Bore Straightness Gage, Steel, Class 440C, Spec QQ-S-763. Heat treat and stabilize, 6.482" long by .2174 dia -- .0001, turned surfaces on ends and electroetching required. 2. GAGE, HEADSPACE, NSN 1005-01-141-3830, P/N 9350102. The Gage, Headspace, Spec MIL-G-10944, MIL-STD-120, ANSI Y14.5 & ANSI B46.1 apply. Material tool steel, quench, temper and stabalise, hard to rock C-60-65, Metric 40.585 +/-.1 long, Major DIA 8.4 +/-0.1 with precision tapers and turned surfaces. 3. GAGE, MUZZLE, NSN 5220-01-141-3830, P/N 11826276. The Gage, Muzzle & Breech Bore Wear (Field Service) Material is Plug, Tool Steel, Handle is Mach Steel, Metric, 347.0 long by 7.67, mag dia. with several turned diameter and scribed lines with etched lettering. Used to check M240 M.G. barrels. 4. GAGE, BREECHBORE, NSN 5210-00-317-2504, P/N 7319994. The Barrel Erosion Gage, seamless tubing and tool steel, silver soldering, heat treat, plating, turning, threading and boaring required. Approximately 15" by .750 largest diameter. 5. GAGE, BREECHBORE, NSN 5210-01-082-1714, P/N 11826298. The Gage Breechbore Erosion (Field Service) Material: Plug, tool steel, handle, machine steel. Hardened and ground tool steel plug in a mach. Steel handle used to check bore errosion. Scribed lines and lettering .2 max W by .12 min deep.250 long x 7.8 dia.
