This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items, some of which are individual repair parts ordering data items manufactured by Eaton Corporation and others. The solicitation will not be available until 15 days after published in the CBD. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. A one year (365 days) indefinite quantity indefinite delivery type contract is anticipated. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extention shall not exceed four (4) years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approveed sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1). While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance as described in the solicitation.
