These items will be used in an ongoing HAIL-2 study to assess the clinical benefits of IL-2 Therapy in conjunction with Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART) on HIV-infected patients. NIAID has performed assays with these reagents exclusively in recent patient protocols and it is essential that the agency continues to use the same reagents to maintain data integrity.
