This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) sub part 12.6., as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation document; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. Number RFP-797-FDF2-00-0028 is the reference number for this requirement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 90-46. This is a requirement for the following: Quantity of 45 each Dental Ceiling Mounted Light, Manufactured by Midmark Corporation, Part Number 152567 (light) and 152581 (tube). NSN is 6520LM5119020. Place of delivery is to Keesler AFB, MS. Delivery, which shall be FOB DESTINATION ONLY, shall occur 30 calendar days after award of the purchase order. Offerors responding to this announcement shall provide all information contained in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial Items. As stated in this clause, the Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint.
