synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) sub part 12.6., as
supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation document; proposals are
being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. Number
RFP-797-FDF2-00-0027 is the reference number for this requirement. The
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through FAC 90-46. The SIC code is 5047 and the small
business size standard is 100 employees. This is a requirement for the
following: Quantity of 2 each Xenon Light Source, Part #7205353;
quantity of 4 each Light Cable, Part #7205177; quantity of 2 each
Olympus Source Adapter, Part #2143; quantity of 2 each Dyonic/Wolf
Verstrip, Part #2146; quantity of 4 each Adapter Dyonics Verstrip, Part
#2147; quantity of 2 each D3 NTSC Camera System to include the
following: 2 each D3 NTSC Camera System Part #7205292 and 2 each D3NTSC
Camera Head C-Mount, Part #7205208; 1 each Video Monitor 19", Part
#7204971; 2 each video Printer, Part #7205183; 2 each Character
Generator, Part #7204880; and 2 each 35MM C-Mount Camera Coupler, Part
#7204614. All shall be Y2K complaint. Place of delivery is to the
Defense Depot in Tracy California, where the shipment will be forwarded
to Misawa Air Base, Japan. Delivery, which shall be FOB DESTINATION
ONLY, shall occur 30 calendar days after award of the purchase order.
Offerors responding to this announcement shall provide all information
contained in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.212-1,
Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial Items. As stated in this clause,
the Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without
discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial offer
should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical
standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct
discussion if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be
necessary. Offerors shall include a completed copy of provision
52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification -- Commercial
Items. An authorized representative of the offeror must sign these
representations and certifications; (4) The Offeror shall also provide
its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor
Establishment Code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification number. The
resulting firm fixed price award will incorporate the requirements of
the clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial
Items. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to
Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to
