The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement for Radiation Testing & Characterization of Radiation Hardened Microelectronics and Photonics. The Contractor shall provide: characterization of the radiation response of microelectronics and photonic devices and materials developed under the Radiation Tolerant Microelectronics (RTM) Program; performance of post-irradiation failure analysis; periodic review and update of existing radiation test methods and guidelines including DoD, American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM), Joint Electronic Devices Engineering Council (JEDEC), NASA, European Space Agency (ESA), etc; periodic review of radiation test facilities; and assistance in the planning and implementation of the DTRA RTM Program.
