repairs including but not limited to the following Base Items: (1)
Clean and Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tanks,
(2) Renew Door and Hatch, (3) Remove Paint From Mast Safety Rail, (4)
Overhaul Commissary Hoist Equipment, (5) Overhaul Ventilation Fan
Motors, (6) Clean Shipboard Ventilation Systems, (7) Clean Shipboard
Recirculating Ventilation Systems, (8) Renew Engine Room Ventilation
Ductwork, (9) Renew Auxiliary Machinery Space Ventilation Ductwork,
(10) Renew Waterproof Ventilators, (11) Renew Chilled Water Pipe
Insulation, (12) Renew Insulation and Lagging, (13) Install New Drains
on Fantail Weather Decks, (14) Overhaul and Test Manifolds, (15)
Inspect and Test Air Receivers and Renew Relief Valves, (16) Overhaul
AFFF Motorized Valves, (17) Renew Fixed Hanger Section Joint Sealant,
(18) Modify Laundry Bulkhead, (19) Renew Ellison Door, (20) Replace
Electrical Enclosure Panels, (21) Renew Deck Coverings, (22) Provide
Temporary Logistics, etc. Option Items include but are not limited to
the following: (1) Minor Coating of Sewage and Grey Water Collection
and Holding Tanks, (2) Rewind AFFF Motors, (3) Provide Additional
Temporary Logistics, (3) Composite Labor Rate, etc. Vessel's homeport
is located at CG Group, Key West, FL 33040-0005. The place of
performance with be the vessel's homepier. Vessel's availability
schedule is 10 April 2000 for 49 calendar days. Vessel is a 270 Foot
Medium Endurance Cutter. All referenced documents are available for
viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 500, Norfolk, VA. Drawings are
now available on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM sets are available for all cutters
and will be provided free of charge. The CD-ROM(s) contain WINDOWS
compliant raster/vector formats (e.g. *.TIF, *.TIF (group4), *.DWG, and
*.DWF, etc.) Drawings are also still available in hard copy. A
non-refundable charge of $150.00 is required in the form of a certified
check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested
drawings. All Businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit
bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be
issued on of after 15 December 1999. The proposed contract listed here
is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
