This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; verbal or written proposals are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 99-14. SIC 8062 applies. Size Standard is $5 million in average revenues over the last three years. Provide Board Certified, unrestricted license in U.S., Radiologist-Oncologist Physician Services to and at VA Medical Center (VAMC), Minneapolis, MN for a minimum of 60 days (December and January), 5-day week coverage (40 hours per week), 7:30 to 4:O0, with every other week on-call services, evenings and weekend. Duties will include inpatient and outpatient consult visits and treating cancer patients in VA Therapeutic Radiology Department. VA Therapeutic Radiology is currently staffed by one M.D., one dosemitrist (in training), .8 physicists (and recruiting for 1 full time physicist), and four technicians. Two Varian 2100 C model Linear Accelerators are in use. All offers will be reviewed based on the following: Professional qualifications, clinical and consultation skills, availability, past performance and cost. Solicitations are being requested under Public Law 104-262 The Veterans Health Care Eligibility Reform Act of 1996 and Title 38 United State Code Section 8153, with a Commercial Items format of terms, conditions, and provisions/clauses. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5 test program; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
